1. A holder for an electrical coil having E-core halves (5), made of a magnetic material, in particular ferrite, and in particular having round central limbs (15) and a coil body (16) having a hollow cylindrical winding carrier (17) which is slipped onto the central legs and at its end faces carries integral soldering tag strips (18), characterized by two angled sheet-metal pieces (1) which are aligned parallel to one another, one limb (7) of which can be secured to a circuit plate and the other arm (3) of which is T-shaped and which at the ends of their cross-pieces (11) have strip-shaped flanges (12) which are aligned at right angles to the cross-pieces and which have respective bores (13) which serve for the passage of the mutually parallel portions of a U-shaped clip (14), wherein the cross-pieces (11) rest against the outer surfaces of the mutually parallel legs of the E-core halves (5) and the angled sheet-metal pieces (1) are screwed to one another by means of the U-shaped clip (14), the free ends of which are provided with screw threads and the mutually parallel portions of which are guided in mutually paralle grooves (9) formed on the outer surfaces of the outer surfaces of the outer legs of the E-core halves (5).
