[origin: EP0017226A2] The subject on which the invention is based is to provide a hinge of simple manufacture and mounting and to ensure its cyclic movement, the mutually associated upper edges of parts connected pivotally to one another by means of the hinge being at a sufficient distance from one another in every phase of movement. This is achieved, according to the invention, in that the angle levers (5, 6) are of essentially U-shaped form, their long legs (8) are directed obliquely outwards and the guide tracks (11) are so designed that these are subdivided into three regions (12, 13, 14), the middle (12) of which extend approximately horizontally, whilst the inner (13) and outer (14) regions have inclinations directed obliquely downwards. The hinge is provided with indentations in the middle parts of the middle regions (12) of the guide tracks (11), the degree of the inclinations of the inner (13) and outer (14) regions of a guide track (11) being of different amounts. The degree of the inclinations of the outer regions (14) of the guide tracks (11) is greater than that of the inner regions (13).
