Abstract (en)
1. A machine of the dry vacuum type suitable for the cleaning of floors and other surfaces. Composed of a frame (1) mounted on rollers (3) and therefore mobile and a vacuum compartment (6) which is connected to the vacuum pump motor (4). The vacuum compartment comprises a vertical tank with cover (7) and a hose (11) linking vacuum compartment and suction foot. An elbow connector (9) joins the hose to the upper part of the vacuum compartment. The hose is fixed in place in the tank and is directed towards the base. The lining of the bag (12) intercepts the flow of liquid as it is sucked in and has been designed to remain detached from the tank walls. The elbow connector nozzle (10) is angled obliquely to the tank axis on to one of the generators and at a tangent to the inner tank wall. The tank cover (7) has a spherical cup shape. This design causes the inflow of dirty liquid to adopt a vortical motion preventing particles from setting in the bag lining, the heaviest falling to the bottom of the bag.

La machine conprend sur un méme bâti (1) une enceinte d'aspiration (16) reliée par un conduit (22) à un sabot suceur doté de brosses rotatives (68,58) en plan horizontal et en plan vertical, le dit bâti comportant également un ou des dispositifs de chauffage de l'eau (27) à partir du réseau, un ou des dispositifs de projection du liquide chauffe (30,31) et ou de détergent et des moyens de vidange (24) de l'enceinte d'aspiration (16). La machine peut être utilisée comme une aspirateur à poussière à sec doté d'un sac (40).
