[origin: US4324964A] A device for extending the actuators of electric switchgear has an extension element which is inserted between a collar and the pushbutton of the equipment. At the end facing away from the collar, the extension element ends in C-shaped, elastically resilient arms which are fastened to the equipment by means of a snap-in connection and between which the push-button is contained. The resilient mounting of the extension element serves both for holding the element to the equipment and for restoring it after actuation. The device can be used for command equipment as well as for reset buttons such as the reset button in overload relays.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zur Verlängerung von Stösselantrieben für elektrische Schaltgeräte. Die Vorrichtung besteht aus einem Verlängerungselement (6), das zwischen die Rosette (5) und das Gerät (2) bzw. die Taste (3) des Gerätes (2) als Verlängerung eingeschaltet wird. Das Verlängerungselement (6) läuft an dem der Rosette abgewandten Ende C-förmig in elastisch nachgiebigen Armen (7, 8) aus, die über Schnappverbindungen mit dem Gerät (2) verbunden sind und die Taste (3) zwischen sich aufnehmen. Hierdurch wird eine Eigenfederung des Verlängerungselementes (6) erreicht, die zugleich der Halterung des Elementes am Gerät (2) dient. Die Vorrichtung ist sowohl für Befehlsgeräte als auch für Rückstelltasten, beispielsweise die Resettaste bei Überstromrelais, verwendbar.
