[origin: ES8101442A1] A power adjustment for a piston-type powder actuated fastener driving tool wherein a tube is slidably disposed in the barrel of the tool, the tube containing the driving piston of the tool. The tube has a radially inwardly extending flange at its breech end which engages a radially outwardly extending surface on the piston. Means for moving the tube axially of the barrel are provided so that the distance between the flange and firing chamber can be varied whereby the gas expansion chamber between the firing chamber and the rear face of the piston can be varied thereby varying the power with which the piston is driven.

Appareil de scellement comprenant un porte-canon (10), une culasse (12) solidaire du porte-canon (10), un canon (14) coulissant dans la culasse (12), une masselotte (4) dans le canon (14), un guide-pointe (40) en contact avec le canon (14), une bague (32) vissée sur le guide-pointe (40) et le porte-canon (10). Lorsqu'on visse la bague (32) dans le porte-canon (10), on déplace le canon vers l'arrière. Lorsqu'on dévisse la bague (32), on déplace le canon vers l'avant. L'invention permet de faire varier facilement le volume de la chambre de combustion initial de l'appareil destiné à ancrer des éléments de fixation dans un matériau.
