[origin: WO8002258A1] The web is advanced during each cycle, alternatively at the printing speed during printing and at an intake speed at the most equal to the printing speed, while reabsorbing through a return of the web the excess in length provided by the printing speed with respect to the intake speed if the latter is slower than the printing speed, without stopping the web. A typical device comprises downstream of the printing cylinder (2), a first endless rotary member for driving the web at the printing speed (9) and a second endless rotary member (12) for driving the web at the intake speed. Application to papers in webs of a great variety of weights and qualities.

On fait avancer la nappe pendant chaque cycle, alternativement à la vitesse d'impression pendant l'impression et à une vitesse d'appel au plus égale à la vitesse d'impression, en résorbant par un rappel de la nappe vers l'arrière l'excès de longueur procuré par la vitesse d'impression sur la vitesse d'appel si cette dernière est inférieure à la vitesse d'impresion, sans arrêter la nappe. Un dispositif typique comprend en aval du cylindre d'impression (2), un premier organe rotatif sans fin pour l'entraînement de la nappe à la vitesse d'impression (9) et un deuxième organe rotatif sans fin (12) pour l'entraînement de la nappe à la vitesse d'appel. Application aux papiers en nappes d'une grande diversité de grammages et de qualité.
