A connector for a printed circuit board, comprising a base-plate (1) provided with contacts (5), a movable block (2) and a rotating displacement device with cams (3) for the movable block passing longitudinally through said movable block which takes, under the influence of the displacement device, a high or low position, characterized in that the base-plate comprises a base-portion (4) furnished with said contacts, that the movable block is parallel to the base-portion, that the printed circuit board (28) is mounted by one end on the movable block parallely to the base-portion, and that the movable block moves perpendicularly to the base-portion in order to allow, in the high position, the insertion, above the base-portion, of the printed circuit board, which comprises contacts (29) one one face regarding the base-portion and in order to press, in the low position, the printed circuit board against said contacts (5) of the base-portion, the movable block carrying along the printed circuit board with it in its movement.
