[origin: ES8101443A1] A powder-actuated tool is provided with a barrel assembly having two parallel, communicating bores and a piston comprised of joined, offset portions, with one of said portions being adapted to slide in one bore while another portion is sliding in the other bore, whereby it is possible to provide a relatively short tool, capable of setting long fasteners, with continuous centering, of the fasteners, during their displacement.

Appareil de scellement comprenant un canon (1,3) et une masselotte (12,13,14) agencée pour coulisser à l'intérieur du canon (1,3) sous l'action de gaz de combustion produits par une charge propulsive (11) et pour entraîner un élément de fixation. La masselotte comporte une porion arrière (13), une portion avant (14) décaléestransversalement et conformées pour coulisser dans deux alésages (4 et 5) respectivement. L'invention permet d'ancrer des éléments de fixation longs avec un appareil court.
