Gas burner in particular for an ultraflat top, comprising a housing of low height such as a cooking top to be let in, comprising a head (9) connected to a pipe (1) containing a venturi tube (18). The pipe is constituted by a tube (1) arranged horizontally inside an impermeable box (2) and comprises a curved wall (3) intended to deflect the gaseous flow towards an upper opening (4) of the pipe, to which the head (9) of the burner is applied. The venturi tube (18) and the pipe (1) are made in light alloy on an aluminium base, cast without pressure, and the pipe (1) is in thermal contact with a wall (6) of the housing of the burner. The pipe (1) can be provided with other means of cooling such as plates (28). <IMAGE>

Brûleur à gaz notamment pour table ultraplate, comportant un logement de faible hauteur telle que table de cuisson à encastrer, comportant une tête (9) raccordée à une pipe (1) contenant un venturi (18). La pipe est constituée par un tube (1) disposé horizontalement à l'intérieur d'un caisson étanche (2) et comporte une paroi courbée (3) destinée à dévier le flux gazeux vers une ouverture supérieure (4) de la pipe sur laquelle est appliquée la tête (9) du brûleur. Le venturi (18) et la pipe (1) sont réalisés en alliage léger à base d'aluminium, coulé sous pression et la pipe (1) est en contact thermique avec une paroi (6) du logement du brûleur. La pipe (1) peut être pourvue d'autres moyens de refroidissement tels que des semelles (28).
