[origin: WO8001367A1] A pounder unit for attachment to a pounder or scabbler for hard around surfaces, that is to say for dressing stone or like material surfaces by percussion. The unit comprises a frame, a single cylinder, and a tool (6) removably inserted into the cylinder. A piston is completely received in the cylinder and reciprocable for striking the tool. Means are provided for fastening the frame to a pounder. The unit can be fastened in a position so as to project and extend into otherwise-inaccessible corners of the surface under treatment.

Un pilon est fixe a un appareil a pilonner ou a smiller des surfaces en pierres dures, c'est-a-dire pour dresser la pierre ou autre surface d'un materiau semblable par percussion. Le pilon comprend un chassis, un cylindre simple, et un outil (6) introduit de maniere amovible dans le cylindre. Un piston est recu completement dans le cylindre et possede un mouvement alternatif pour percuter l'outil. Des moyens sont prevus pour attacher le chassis a un appareil a pilonner. Le pilon peut etre fixe dans une position lui permettant d'atteindre des recoins de la surface a traiter qui seraient autrement inaccessibles.
