[origin: WO8000980A1] In a carding machine provided with a flat assembly (13), the flats (12) have T-shaped cross sections. By closing temporarily the space between the cores (18, 18a) of two adjacent flats by means of a cover element (30), a longitudinal conduit is provided wherein an air stream is generated. The air stream blows out the card web accumulated between the flats (12, 12a) and onto the rear sides thereof. The air stream circulating into the conduit and obtained by lateral suction removes the web and other impurities of the conduit by use of a small section conduit.

Dans une cardeuse munie d'un ensemble de chapeaux (13), les chapeaux (12) sont constitues de profiles en T. En fermant provisoirement l'espace entre les ames (18, 18a) de deux chapeaux voisins au moyen d'un element de couverture (30) on obtient un conduit longitudinal dans lequel on cree un courant d'air. Le courant d'air chasse le voile de carde accumule entre les chapeaux (12, 12a) et sur leurs cotes arriere. Le courant d'air circulant dans le conduit et obtenu par une aspiration laterale enleve le voile et d'autres impuretes du conduit en utilisant un petit conduit d'aspiration.
