[origin: WO8001061A1] The cap comprises two sealing rims (5, 6) the length (h) of which exceeds the mutual distance thereof (a). When the cap is applied to the neck (2) of the container, the rims are readily folded upwardly. The end of the lower rim (6) engages into a space (13) which is defined by the lower surface (14, 14') of the rim (5) before and after the deformation thereof and by the wall of the neck (2). When a gas pressure occurs the upper rim (5) fills up further so that it bears against the end (12) of the lower rim and is supported thereby. Ence, a perfect sealing is provided without having to make a big effort to unscrew the cap.
