[origin: WO8001184A1] The plate like insulation element (1) comprises chambers (5, 6) of which the walls (2, 3, 4) are at least partly made of a deformable flexible material. The chambers are filled with a pulverulent or granular material, for example a metal powder. The chambers (5), are of a small size in the vertical direction but may form channels in the horizontal direction, this arrangement allows not only the improvement of the insulation capacity by increasing the specific weight of the panel, but also the elimination of the resonance phenomena for frequencies comprised between 100 and 3000 Hz.

L'element d'insonorisation en forme de plaque (1) comprend des chambres (5, 6) dont les parois (2, 3, 4) sont en partie au moins constituees par un materiau souple deformable. Les chambres sont remplies d'un materiau pulverulent ou granule, par exemple une poudre metallique. Les chambres (5, 6) sont en direction verticale de petites dimensions mais peuvent constituer horizontalement des canaux. Cette disposition permet non seulement d'ameliorer le pouvoir d'insonorisation par augmentation du poids specifique du panneau, mais egalement d'eliminer les phenomenes de resonance pour les frequences comprises entre 100 et 3000 Hz.
