[origin: US4333578A] A bottle cap is provided with a circular inner peripheral relief member that is in opposition to a mating groove in the neck of the bottle. An annular collar is positioned beneath the relief member and is spaced from the neck of the bottle. A bottle opener is used to crack the annular collar to thereby indicate that the cap has been removed.

Garantie-Verschlußkapsel aus Kunstharz für Flaschen, insbesondere für Mineralwasser, Bier u.dgl. Getränke enthaltende Flaschen, die unterhalb des von ihrem Innenumfang etwas vorstehenden Bundes (11), mit dem sie in eine die Flasche (13) dichtfest abschließende Stellung schnappt, einen ringförmigen Fortsatz (12) aufweist, der beim Anbringen der Kapsel an die Flasche im wesentlichen koaxial zur Flaschenachse und mit geringem Abstand vom Flaschenhals zu stehen kommt, wodurch bei Ansetzen eines üblichen als Hebel wirkenden Kapselziehers und anschließendem Abziehen der Kapsel (10) von der Flasche dieser ringförmige Fortsatz (12) in offensichtlicher Weise verletzt (12a) wird.
