In a household appliance, in particular a dish-washing machine 1, 2, 3 with a salt vessel 6 for preparing regeneration brine for water softeners, the salt vessel 6 is arranged in the plinth of the appliance in such a way that, in operation, it can be moved out in front of the front panel 2 of the appliance towards the loading side. The salt vessel 6 is connected to the water-softener via flexible pipes 7 and, if appropriate, also to the discharge shaft of the machine. The overflow pipe leading to the discharge shaft is provided with a closure which is only opened when the salt vessel 6 is loaded. The salt vessel 6 is mounted on parts of the panel 4 of the machine on the plinth side and can be moved out of the machine via the rails 5. <IMAGE>

Bei einem Haushaltsgerät, insbesondere einem Geschirrspüler 1, 2, 3 mit einem Salzgefäss 6 zum Aufbereiten von Regeneriersole für Wasserenthärter ist das Salzgefäss 6 im Gerätesockel so angeordnet, dass es betriebsmässig zur Beschickungsseite vor die Gerätefront 2 herausbewegt werden kann. Das Salzgefäss 6 ist über flexible Leitungen 7 mit dem Wasserenthärter und gegebenenfalls auch mit dem Ablaufschacht der Maschine verbunden. Die zum Ablaufschacht führende Überlaufleitung ist mit einem Verschluss versehen, der nur beim Beschicken des Salzgefässes 6 geöffnet wird. Das Salzgefäss 6 ist an Teilen der sockelseitigen Maschinenblende 4 gehaltert und kann über die Schienen 5 aus der Maschine herausbewegt werden.
