Elektrode für die Wasserelektrolyse, bestehend aus einer auf der der Wasserzufuhr zugewandten Seite mit Rillen (2) versehenen porösen Platte (1) aus Kohlenstoff und einem auf der Elektrolytseite mit einem Katalysator (4) beschichteten porösen Körper (3) aus Titan oder Titanlegierung. Bevorzugte Zusammensetzung des Katalysators: 20 mol-% Rutheniumoxyd und 80 mol-% Iridiumoxyd.
