Abstract (en)
This process is characterised in that a coloured base is applied to a rigid or flexible plastic plate constituting the basic support for the panel. The basic support thus coloured is dried, a metallic powder diluted by means of a suitable diluent is then applied to the coloured support by means of a spray-gun, the diluted metallic powder is stumped in order to displace and shade the powder as required to form the desired decorative pattern on the coloured background, and the pattern formed by the metallic powder is dried. The panel on which the desired pattern has been formed by means of the stumped metallic powder can either be used directly as a finished decorative facing panel, or can be used as a model serving for the reproduction of a large number of identical panels exhibiting the same pattern.

Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'on applique un fond coloré sur une plaque de matière plastique rigide ou souple constituant le support de base du panneau, on sèche le support de base ainsi coloré, on applique ensuite sur le support coloré, au moyen d'un pistolet, une poudre métallique diluée au moyen d'un diluant approprié, on estompe la poudre métallique diluée de manière à déplacer et à nuancer à volonté la poudre pour la formation du motif décoratif désiré sur le fond coloré et on fait sécher le motif formé par la poudre métallique. On peut utiliser soit directement, comme panneau de revêtement décoratif final, le panneau sur lequel a été formé le motif désiré au moyen de la poudre métallique estompée, soit, comme modèle devant servir à la reproduction d'un grand nombre de panneaux identiques présentant le même motif.
