[origin: ES257685U] A device for conducting away exhaust gases from internal combustion engines comprises at least one sleeve-shaped silencer which encloses an exhaust pipe and forms an enclosed space around said exhaust pipe. The silencer is made up of at least two sleeve-shaped parts, or of a sleeve-shaped part and base part, which are joined together. The portion of the exhaust pipe in the space inside the silencer features perforations and/or sound absorbing elements. The inside of the silencer may be fitted with sound absorbers. The sleeve-shaped parts of the silencer and if desired, the exhaust pipe and/or the sound absorbers are made of aluminum and/or an aluminum alloy. The sleeve-shaped parts of the silencer are manufactured by impact extrusion, deep drawing or a similar method and all joined together preferably radial to their longitudinal axis. The ends these parts taper down to tube-shaped extensions which fit over the exhaust pipe. To join the sleeve-shaped parts and the tube-shaped extensions to the exhaust pipe a region is provided on which an interlocking profile is created by electromagnetic forces.

Bei einer Vorrichtung zum Ableiten der Abgase von Verbrennungskraftmaschinen mit mindestens einem ein Abgasrohr umfangenden und einen Innenraum bildenden hülsenartigen Schalldämpfer aus wenigstens zwei miteinander verbundenen Hülsenteilen (2, 3), oder je einen Hülsenund Bodenteil, wobei im Innenraum des Schalldämpfers das Abgasrohr (4) Perforationen aufweist und gegebenenfalls Schallabsorber angeordnet sind, bestehen die Hülsenteile (2, 3) des Schalldämpfers und gegebenenfalls das Abgasrohr (4) und/oder die Schallabsorber aus Aluminium und/oder einer Aluminiumlegierung. Die Hülsenteile (2, 3) des Schalldämpfers werden im Fliesspress-, Tiefzieh- oder einem ähnlichen Verfahren hergestellt und sind vorzugsweise radial zu ihrer Längsachse miteinander verbunden. Sie gehen endseitig nahtlos über Verjüngungsabsätze (16), in Manschetten (10) über, die das Abgasrohr (4) umgeben. Zur Verbindung der Hülsenteile (2, 3) und der Manschette (10) mit dem Abgasrohr (4) wird ein Kupplungsbereich gebildet, der mittels elektromagnetischen Kräften erzeugte Profilierungen aufweist.
