A cylindrical firing space (14), a hollow cylindrical water jacket (1) and within the latter at least one hollow cylindrical water chamber (2) smaller in diameter than the hollow cylindrical water jacket (1) are provided in a horizontal boiler, the combustion gas guidance path extending in part over the annular gap (17) and a burner (13) being held in an end cover (10) of the boiler. In order to simplify the manufacture and the cleaning of the boiler and to achieve even heat transfer, the combustion gas conduit (17) leading to the combustion gas extraction (20) is designed as an annular gap on the inside of the water jacket (1). Water jacket (1) and water chamber (2) are connected to each other (6, 7) near both ends and the combustion gas extraction (20) is provided in a cover (11) forming the end wall of the boiler. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei einem liegenden Kessel sind ein zylindrischer Feuerungsraum (14), ein hohlzylindrischer Wassermantel (1) und in diesem wenigstens eine im Durchmesser kleinere hohlzylindrische Wasserkammer (2) vorgesehen, wobei der Rauchgasführungsweg zum Teil über den Ringspalt (17) verläuft und ein Brenner (13) in einem stirnseitigen Deckel (10) des Kessels gehalten ist. Um die Herstellung und die Reinigung des Kessels zu vereinfachen sowie einen gleichmäßigen Wärmeübergang zu erzielen, ist die zum Rauchgasabzug (20) führende Rauchgasleitung (17) als Ringspalt an der Innenseite des Wassermantels (1) ausgebildet. Wassermantel (1) und Wasserkammer (2) sind in der Nähe beider Enden miteinander verbunden (6,7) und der Rauchgasabzug (20) ist in einem die Kesselstirnwand bildenden Deckel (11) vorgesehen.
