In a printing machine, in particular an offset printing machine, with a damping unit for applying a damping film to the printing plates of a plate cylinder, the damping unit has a damping duct roller dipping into the damping solution and a damper roller rolling against the plate cylinder. For the purpose of structural simplification and a more favourable design in terms of cost and, in addition, for the purpose of easier setting, the damping roller (4) and the plate cylinder (2) are connected to one another via a gear, which can operate with frictional or nonpositive engagement, and the damping roller (4) rests directly against the damping duct roller (3), which is driven at a lower peripheral speed than the damper roller (4). <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Bei einer Druckmaschine, insbesondere Offset-Druckmaschine, mit einem Feuchtwerk zum Auftragen eines Feuchtemittelfilmes auf den Druckplatten eines Plattenzylinders weist das Feuchtwerk einen in das Feuchtemittel eintauchenden Feuchtduktor und eine auf dem Plattenzylinder abrollende Feuchtauftragswalze auf. Zwecks konstruktiver Vereinfachung und kostengüstigerer Ausführung sowie zudem zwecks leichterer Einstellbarkeit sind die Feuchtauftragswalze (4) und der Plattenzylinder (2) über ein Getriebe miteinander verbunden, das reib- oder kraftschlüssig arbeiten kann, und leigt die Feuchtauftragswalze (4) direkt an dem Feuchtduktor (3) an, der mit geringerer Umfangsgeschwindigkeit angetrieben ist als die Feuchtauftragswalze (4).
