[origin: WO8001355A1] Produced of ski wax market the wax in a form of raw material in blocks, boxes and tubes. The consumers are left with the difficult and usually unpleasant task of further transforming the substance of wax into the very thin layer of wax which is suitable for the use on the running surfaces of the skis. The process of waxing skis has fundamently not changed since ski wax was first marketed approximately 70 years ago. This invention relates to a product which makes it practical to prefabricate the ski wax substance industrially, to the final shape and size required for the use on the running surfaces of the skis, and that the preshaped band of wax is arranged on a removable flexible protective band which facilitates handeling and transfering the very thin wax-band directly to the running surfaces of the skis. Then the protective band is removed.

Les producteurs de fart pour skis commercialisent le fart sous fore d'un materiau brut en blocs, boites et tubes. Les consommateurs se voient confrontes avec le probleme et le travail generalement desagreable de transformer la substance de fart en une couche tres fine de fart utilisable sur les surfaces de glissement des skis. Le procede de fartage de skis n'a pas change depuis que le fart a ete commercialise la premiere fois il y a environ 70 ans. Un produit permet de rendre pratique la prefabrication industrielle d'une substance pour fart, sous une forme et dimension definitives requises pour l'utilisation sur les surfaces de glissement des skis, une bande de fart preformee etant disposee sur une bande de protection flexible amovible qui facilite la manipulation et le transfert direct de la bande tres fine de fart sur les surfaces de glissement des skis, la bande de protection est ensuite enlevee.
