Ink metering device for a printing machine, consisting of elements metering the ink film thickness and adjustable by means of ink film thickness-adjusting elements against the spring pre-stressing of a spring-pin system, which elements can be adjusted individually over the length of the ink fountain roller by swivelling round a common shaft, characterised in that the elements consist of discs (4) that can be thread strung onto the shaft (5) by means of bores with respectively several edges that are adjustable against the ink fountain roller (1) and which operate as an ink knife, whereby the pin (7) of the spring-pin system (6, 7, 8) associated with each disc is secured in axially adjustable fashion into a recess in the circumference of each disc (4) provided between two respective adjacent edges, and can be applied against a fixed stop (2) with its free end to restrict the adjustment movement of the disc (4) in question, and in that the spring (6) of the spring-pin system (6, 7, 8) extends in the respective recess (9, 11, 13, 15) between the disc (4) and an additional guide portion (8), which abuts continually on the fixed stop (2) through the spring.
