An envelope comprises an information carrier 17 interposed between a front wall 14 and a rear wall 15 each having a tear-off portion 10, 11 respectively. The envelope can be produced by a continuous process and used for processing in fast printers. To make the envelope 1 easier to produce and the information carrier 17 readily accessible to be removed therefrom when properly opened, the tear lines 12, 13 along which the portions 10, 11 respectively can be removed from the remainder of the front and rear walls do not coincide and only one of said portions 10, 11 comprises a transport strip 16. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Ein Umschlag (1) mit einer Vorderwand (14) und einer Rückwand (15) mit je einem abtrennbaren Bereich (10, 11) kann im Endlosdruck hergestellt und für die Verarbeitung mit Schnelldruckern verwendet werden. Damit der Umschlag vereinfacht herstellbar und der Informationsträger (17) nach dem bestimmungsgemäßen Öffnen leicht aus dem Umschlag herausnehmbar ist, sind die seitlichen an den abtrennbaren Bereich (10, 11) angrenzenden Trennkanten (12, 13) von Vorder- und Rückwand (14, 15) nicht deckungsgleich, und nur eine der Wände (14) weist einen Transportstreifen auf. Ein mit dem Umschlag (1) verbundener zweiter Informationsträger (20) kann vorgesehen sein.
