1. A retaining means for retaining convex plastics material panels of roof structures, comprising support straps mounted on carriers for the support of the plastics material panels and clamping clips which are placed over the plastics material panels, characterised in that the ends of the clamping clips (7) are secured both at the edges of the plastics material panels (4) and at the ends of U-shaped profile rails (5, 6) which receive the support straps (3) and which rails are pressed against the ends of the support straps (3) by the clamping force of the clamping clips (7).

Zum Halten der ein sogenanntes Tonnengewölbe bildenden Kunststoffplatten (4) wird eine Dachgerüstkonstruktion mit an Trägern befestigten gewölbten Auflagebügeln (3) verwendet, deren Enden zusammen mit den Rändern der Kunststoffplatten (4) in U-förmige Profilschienen (5, 6) eingesetzt sind. Zum Andrücken der Kunststoffplatten an die Auflagebügel (3) werden Spannbügel (7) über die Platten (4) gelegt und mit ihren Enden in die Profilschienen (5,6) eingehängt. Die Spannbügel (7) sind elastisch und sorgen für eine kraftschlüssige Verbindung zwischen den Kunststoffplatten (4) und den Auflagebügeln (3), so daß die Platten (4) in ihrer Lage festgehalten werden und trotzdem eine thermische Ausdehnung der Platten (4) möglich ist, um eine Zerstörung oder Ausbeulung, insbesondere bei Wärmeeinwirkung durch die Sonne, zu verhindern. Die U-förmigen Profilschienen (5,6) werden mittels Schrauben (15, 16) an Regenrinnen (1, 2) angebracht, während die Regenrinnen (1,2) an Mauern oder sonstigen Trägern befestigt sind.
