Abstract (en)

1. Roller blind comprising a hanging of horizontal slats which at their faces are adapted to be guided by guide pins (16) in vertical guide rails between a top end position and a bottom end position and, starting from a predetermined top slat (4), are suspended pivotally on pull members (20) and joined by coupling members (28) to form a slat pivoting assembly (5) consisting of a plurality of parallel pivotable slats, and further comprising control sections (44, 45, 46, 47) on control jaws (40) which during the movement of the roller blind come into engagement with control elements (26) on the faces of the slat pivoting assembly (5) and move the slat pivoting assembly (5) selectively from a vertical position into a pivoted position, the control jaws (40) containing a passage channel (42) divided longitudinally by means of a partition (41) into a rear downward track (42a) and a front upward track (42b), and also containing a first outwardly and downwardly inclined control section (44), a substantially horizontal second control section (44a, 46) adjoining the said section (44), a third control section (43), extending obliquely rearwards and downwards, at the bottom end of the partition (41), and a fourth control section (47), extending obliquely forwards and upwards, at the top end of the partition (41), the top end of the first control section (44) extending as far as the partition (41), and the upward track (42b) closing in a first position and releasing in a second position, characterised in that the control jaws (40) are disposed in the guide rails (50) in such a manner that the passage channel (42) extends in the plane of the guide pins (16), and that the third control section (43) is extended to the base (91) of the guide rail (50) and the downward track (42a) closes in a first position and releases in a second position, and that the fourth control section (47) in a first position extends over the upward track (42b) and closes it, and in a second position frees the upward track (42b).
