1. An insulator for outside climatic conditions consisting of cast resin mixed with filler to economize on cast resin, characterised in that at least a part of the filler includes finely divided materials, which have higher internal electrical losses than does the cast resin, in such an amount that the harmful condensation of water on the insulator is avoided.

Zur Selbsterwärmung von Isolatoren, die einem kondenswasserbegünstigenden Außenraum-Klima ausgesetzt sind, wird dem Gießharz fein verteiltes Granulat aus einem Werkstoff mit wesentlich höheren inneren elektrischen Verlusten als Gießharz beigemengt, besonders Werkstoffe mit größerem Verlustwinkel tan δ und kleinerer Dielektrizitätskonstante DK als Gießharz, wie z.B. Polyvinylchlorid oder Eukryptit.
