A rotary piston machine, in particular a blower, comprising a housing (10) having an inlet opening (11) and an outlet opening (12) for a working medium ; a rotor (14) rotatably arranged inside this housing and comprising a drive shaft (16) rotatably journalled about the axis of rotation (15) on one side of the housing (10) ; a disk (17) secured to this shaft ; a plurality of axles (19) which are carried by this disk by their one ends and which extend substantially through the middle of respective forwarding blades (18) ; a ring-like component (20) which carries the other ends of the axles and is located on the opposite side of the housing (10) ; and a cylindrical guide part (22) which is freely rotatably journalled within the rotor (14), however eccentrically to the drive shaft (16), on an axle (21) secured to the opposite side of the housing (10) and which steers the forwarding blades (18) so that the intermediate chambers (23) located between adjacent forwarding blades (18), the housing (10) and the guide part (22) adopt a largest and a smallest volume once for every complete rotation, characterised in that the ring-like component is constructed in the form of a second disk (20) and in that the two disks (17, 20) extend over the entire range of pivotal movement of the forwarding blades (19).
