A stackable rack comprising rack shelves and supporting posts, wherein the rack shelves (1) consist of a rigid material and include a bottom (29) and rims (8) turned up by 90 degrees about bending lines (3) along the periphery of the bottom and the ends (4) of the supporting posts (20) as well as the corner portions of the rack shelves are so constructed as to be interfittable, characterized in that a) each of the supporting posts (20) consists of an auxiliary post (21, 31), of coupling members (22, 32) adapted to be placed onto each end of each said auxiliary post, and of a corner member (5, 23) adapted to be placed from below onto the rack shelf (1), or that the supporting post (20) is integrally formed with the lower corner member (5) and the upper insert member (26), b) each corner member (5, 23) includes two retaining elements (13) each having a bottom plate (14; 14, 16) and an inner leg (18, 19) as well as an outer leg (18', 19') between which the corner edges (6, 7) of two adjacent rims (8) may be inserted until they rest on the bottom plate (14, 16), and that c) recesses (27) extending from the corners of the bottom (29) of the rack shelves (1) are formed therein through which recesses the inner legs (18, 19) of the retaining elements (13) extend in a snug fit.
