[origin: US4397257A] The anchor comprises a shank and a rocker which is mounted in the vicinity of one end of the shank to pivot about an axis perpendicular to the shank and to the rocker and which has two equal branches constituting the arms of the anchor. Each arm carries at its free end a ploughshare whose convergent end portion faces the other end of the shank. The convex faces of the two ploughshares are disposed in confronting relation. In operation, the anchor operates in the same way as conventional so-called "plough" anchors in hard grounds, whereas the two ploughshares sink into and simultaneously operate in very soft grounds.

Cette ancre comprend une verge 1 et un balancier 2 qui est articulé au voisinage d'une extrémité de la verge autour d'un axe perpendiculaire à la verge et au balancier et qui présente deux branches égales constituant les bras de l'ancre. Chaque bras 5<a>, 5<b> porte à son extrémité libre un soc 7<a>,7<b> dont la partie d'extrémité convergente est orientée du côté de l'autre extrémité de la verge, les faces convexes des deux socs étant disposées en regard l'une de l'autre. En service, l'ancre fonctionne comme les ancres dites "charrues" classiques dans les sols durs, tandis que les deux socs sont enfouis et travaillent simultanément dans les sols très mous.
