[origin: US4328928A] A device for holding a tubular support on which yarn is to be spooled has a pivotable yoke comprising two arms each with a plate to engage the support. One arm is laterally movable and the plate on that arm is in two parts, an external part to engage the support, and an internal part pivoted on the arm. A connection allowing only axial relative movement is between the parts. The arm has a braking device to engage the external part when such axial movement is brought about by pressing on the arm.

Dispositif de bobinage de fil sur un support tubulaire (7) entrainé en rotation par contact tangentiel avec un cylindre moteur (5). Selon l'invention, l'étrier pivotant portant le support tubulaire (7) comporte un bras (3) mobile latéralement et se caractérise par le fait que le flasque monté sur ledit bras mobile (3) est réalisé en deux parties: -l'une externe (6) formant centreur et élément de maintien pour le support tubulaire (7) autour duquel est enroulé le fil, -l'autre interne (8), montée libre en rotation sur un axe fixe (10) porté par ledit bras (3), ces deux parties (6), (8) étant reliées entre elles par un élément (11) assurant leur rigidité radiale l'une par rapport à l'autre et permettant le déplacement axial de la partie interne (8) par rapport à la partie externe (6) de telle sorte que, lors de ce déplacement, les surfaces de freinage (13) viennent prendre appui sur la partie interne.
