A packaging container made of flexible packaging material and having an escape opening (3) in its wall (2), an overpressure relief valve (5) is attached in alignement with the escape opening and closing the escape opening, characterized in that said escape opening (3) takes the form of a narrow slit (10), the shape of which is not a straight line.

Es wird ein Verpackungsbehälter mit einem Überdruckventil (5) vorgeschlagen, durch das vom Füllgut abgegebenes Gas entweichen kann. Um zu verhindern, dass Füllgutteilchen mit dem entweichenden Gas in das Überdruckventil gelangen können, wodurch dessen Funktion beeinträchtigt würde, ist die von dem Überdruckventil verschlossene Öffnung (3) des Behälters als bogenförmiger Schlitz (10) ausgebildet.
