In a container with a lid, preferably a waste drum with radioactive contents, both the drum lid (1a) and the drum bottom (1b) are particularly suitable for stacking due to their moulded shape and are thereby centred in a non-slip manner. A further special feature of the invention consists in the fact that a shaping (5) is worked into the upwardly moulded edge (7) of a container lid which is flat at the top, in which shaping the grippers of a lifting harness can be hooked or released without requiring a large space. <IMAGE>

Bei einem Behälter mit Deckel, vorzugsweise einem Abfallfaß mit radioaktivem Inhalt sind sowohl der Faßdeckel (1a) als auch der Faßboden (1b) durch ihre gekröpfte Formgebung besonders gut stapelfähig und dabei nicht verrutschbar zentriert. Eine weitere Besonderheit der Erfindung besteht darin, daß in den hochgekröpften Rand (7) eines oben glatten Behälterdeckels eine Verformung (5) eingearbeitet ist, in welche die Greifer eines Hebegeschirrs ohne großen Platzbedarf ein- und aushaken können.
