1. Gas-blast switch having a tubular support insulator (12) being supported on a support housing (11) at ground potential and supporting in turn at least one switching chamber (13) the inner spaces of the support housing (11), of the support insulator (12) and of the switching chamber (13) being totally enclosed but in flow communication with one another and containing a pressurized quenching gas, said switch having further a quenching gas heating device (27) at ground potential, the device being in flow communication with the switching chamber (13) via the support insulator (12), characterized in that a connection line (35) leading from the switching chamber (13) and positioned adjacent the support insulator (12) extends to the heating device (17).

Ein auf einem Traggehäuse (11) abgestützter, rohrförmiger Tragisolator (12) trägt wenigstens eine Schaltkammer (13) in der in und ausser Eingriff bringbare Kontakte (17,18) angeordnet sind. Die Schaltkammer (13) und die Innenräume des Traggehäuses (11) und des Tragisolators (12) sind nach aussen abgekapselt, stehen jedoch untereinander in Strömungsverbindung und enthalten ein komprimiertes Löschgas. Um eine Kondensation des Löschgases zu verhüten, ist eine Löschgas- Heizvorrichtung (27) vorgesehen, die über den Tragisolator (12) mit der Schaltkammer (13) in Verbindung steht. Um die durch die Heizvorrichtung (27) hervorgerufene Zirkulation des Löschgases im Schalter (10) auch bei erheblichen Höhen des Tragisolators (12) möglichst wenig zu hemmen, geht von der Schaltkammer (13) eine neben dem Tragisolator (12) angeordnete Verbindungsleitung (35) aus, die zu der Heizvorrichtung (27) führt.
