A reciprocating-piston engine having circular, rotary pistons (50) and rotary cylinders (40) is specified, an eccentric shaft (30) being supported by two eccentrics, offset by 180 DEG , in a housing (60) consisting of side discs (20) and a circular outer ring (10) such that the centre displacement of the shaft bearing corresponds precisely to the eccentricity of the eccentric shaft. In this way, a cylinder body (40) is supported by two cylinder bores, displaced by 90 DEG , in the side discs (20) of the housing (60), this bearing being arranged centrally with respect to the housing (60). Two pistons (50) are introduced into the cylinder body (40), the pistons (50) being shaped such that the piston ends are suitable for holding normal piston rings. <IMAGE>

Es wird ein Hubkolbentriebwerk mit kreisrunden, umlaufenden Kolben (50) und umlaufenden Zylindern (40) angegeben, wobei eine Exzenterwelle (30) mit zwei um 180° versetzten Exzentern in einem aus Seitenscheiben (20) und einem kreisförmigen Außenring (10) bestehenden Gehäuse (60) so gelagert ist, daß der Mittenversatz der Wellenlagerung genau der Exzentrizität der Exzenterwelle entspricht. Dabei ist ein Zylinderkörper (40) mit zwei um 90° versetzten Zylinderbohrungen in den Seitenscheiben (20) des Gehäuses (60) gelagert, wobei diese Lagerung zentrisch zum Gehäuse (60) angeordnet ist. In dem Zylinderkörper (40) sind zwei Kolben (50) geführt, die so geformt sind, daß die Kolbenenden für die Aufnahme normaler Kolbenringe geeignet sind.
