Tube/gusset plate connection as a disconnectable coupling element free from slip between a circular, square or rectangular hollow section and a gusset plate, characterized in that a jaw (3) is welded to the front end of said hollow section (1) by means of a single bevel groove weld, said jaw being provided with a wedge-shaped groove into which a wedge-shaped fishplate (2) welded to a gusset plate by means of a butt weld is slipped, a sleeve (4) being slipped into the end of said jaw and fixed by a spring (5), thus securing the position of said fishplate.
