Abstract (en)

[origin: WO8002114A1] Angled centrifugal separator divided widthwise by principal and auxiliary partitions defining particle collecting volumes. In order to increase the efficiency, several inverted knees are arranged one after the other (2 and 3) making sure that their principal partitions (2a, 2b and 3a, 3b) are so arranged that the principal partitions of the next knee (3) divide the flow issuing from the channels of the preceding knee (2). The inlets and outlets of the knees comprise profiled surfaces in order to establish and keep a rotation-free flow condition. Scrubbing of fluids containing particles.

Separateur centrifuge a coude divise en largeur par des cloisons principales et avec cloisons auxiliaires delimitant des espaces collecteurs de particules. Pour augmenter l'efficacite on dispose a la suite plusieurs coudes inverses (2 et 3) en ayant soin d'agencer leurs cloisons principales (2a, 2b et 3a, 3b) de facon que celles du coude suivant (3) divisent l'ecoulement provenant des canaux du precedent (2). Les entrees et les sorties des coudes comportent des surfaces profilees pour y etablir et y maintenir le regime d'ecoulement irrotationnel. Epuration des fluides charges de particules.
