Expander roller, in which a flexible tubular roller casing (4), preferably a flexible steel tube, is supported rotatably by bearing elements (2), and centred, on the non-rotating shaft (1). The steel tube is closed at both ends and is sealed on the shaft. This new construction, applicable especially in the textile industry, guarantees extremely favourable running properties, whilst at the same time ensuring the least possible maintenance. <IMAGE>

Breitstreckwalze, bei welcher auf der nichtdrehenden Welle (1) ein flexibler schlauchförmiger Walzenmantel (4), vorzugsweise ein flexibler Stahlschlauch, von Lagerelementen (2) drehbar abgestützt und zentriert ist. Der Stahlschlauch ist an beiden Enden abgeschlossen und auf der Welle abgedichtet. Diese neue Konstruktion, insbesondere in der Textilindustrie anwendbar, garantiert extrem günstige Laufeingenschaften bei geringstem Unterhalt.
