1. A marking rider for fitting over the front or rear cover of a suspended documents file, which cover has the thickness of only a single layer of cardboard, as well as over the thicker rear fold of the file, which rider has a head containing a pocket (1) for accomodating a marking strip, and a clamping base (2) with two limbs (21, 22), the front limb (21) of which base forms an extension of the front plate (11) of the pocket (1), which itself has an upper and a lower rear wall part (12, 13), said rider having, in the zone between the limbs (21, 22), a downwardly open channel (27), the opening of which channel is adjoined by a widened portion (24) of the gap between the two limbus (21, 22) which bear resiliently against each other at their free ends, characterized in that the rear limb of the clamping face (2) comprises, in its upper zone, a U-shaped loop (23), which forms the channel (27) and whose front flank, connected to the front limb (21), also forms the rear wall part (13) of the pocket (1).

Der auf den Rand eines Schrittgutbehälters, insbesondere eines Hängehefters oder einer Hängetasche aufsteckbare Kennzeichnungsreiter gewährleistet einen sicheren Sitz sowohl auf dem Rand eines nur eine geringe Kartonstärke aufweisenden Deckels als auch auf dem dickeren Rückenfalz eines Hängehefters, weil der von den beiden mit ihren Enden federnd gegeneinander anliegenden Schenkein (21, 22) des Klemmfußes (2) gebildete Spalt im Abstand von dem Scheitel des Klemmfußes eine Schulter aufweist, die entweder durch eine Abbiegung (24) des hinteren Schenkels (22) oder eine Aussparung in dem vorderen, eine Verlängerung der Vorderplatte (11) der einen Kennzeichnungsstreifen aufnehmenden Tasche bildenden vorderen Schenkel (21) gebildet wird.
