[origin: WO8100996A1] Display box comprising a base (1) provided with a side wall (12) and a hollow cover (2) pivotingly mounted on one end face of the side wall (12) of the base (1) by means of pivoting members, the base (1) and the cover (2) provided as two separate pieces, the pivoting members comprising two projecting pins (14) integral with one of the pieces, and two ovalized holes (23) in the other piece to receive said pins (14). The display box is characterized in that the base (1) comprises a lower peripheral flange (13) connected to the lower portion of the side wall thereof (12) and on which bears the cover (2) in closed position, and an opening in the region of said end face (121) at the vicinity of said flange to prevent the blocking of the cover before it reaches its open position. Application to packaging and presentation of luxury articles such as perfumery articles.

Goffret-présentoir comportant un socle (1) muni d'une paroi latérale (12), et un couvercle (2) creux monté pivotant sur une face extrême de la paroi latérale (12) du socle (1), grâce à des organes de pivotement, le sôcle (1) et le couvercle (2) constituant deux pièces distinctes, les organes de pivotement comprenant deux ergots (14) saillants solidaires de l'une des pièces et deux trous (23) ovalisés dans l'autre pour recevoir lesdits ergots (14). Le socle (1) du coffret-présentoir comporte un rebord périphérique inférieur (13) raccordé à la partie inférieure de sa paroi latérale (12) sur lequel repose le couvercle (2) en position fermée et une ouverture dans la région de ladite face extrême (121) au voisinage dudit rebord pour éviter tout blocage du couvercle avant qu'il atteigne sa position ouverte. L'invention est applicable à l'emballage et la présentation d'articles de luxe tels que des articles de parfumerie.
