The display box is characterized in that the base (1) comprises a lower peripheral flange (13) connected to the lower portion of the side wall thereof (12) and on which bears the cover (2) in closed position, and an opening in the region of said end face (121) at the vicinity of said flange to prevent the blocking of the cover before it reaches its open position.
