To predetermine a transporting speed, a transporting apparatus, in particular an articulated crane for ships, has a reference element (48) which is provided with a control lever (23) and feeds a transducer (76) which forms a signal (+/- v.t.) which varies with time according to a predetermined function and is fed to a computer (77) in which the variation with time of the desired value ( gamma desired) of the angle of rotation of the inner cantilever (4) is formed as a function of parameters (yo) of the transporting path.

Eine Transportvorrichtung, insbesondere ein Knickgelenkkran für Schiffe, besizt zur Vorgabe einer Transportgeschwindigkeit einen mit einem Steuerhebel (23) versehenen Sollwertgeber (48), der einen Signalumformer (76) speist, welcher ein nach einer vorgegebenen Funktion sich zeitlich änderndes Signal (± v.t) bildet, das einem Rechner (77) zugeführt wird, in dem der zeitliche Verlauf des Drehwinkelsollwertes (ϑsoll) des Innenholms (4) in Abhängigkeit von Parametern (yo) des Transportweges gebildet wird.
