Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0027827A1] 1. Hot water heating installation comprising : a hot water generator, which has a heat source arranged to be started electrically through a control circuit, a heating loop including a forward duct, radiators and a return duct, temperature controlled radiator valves being provided at the radiators, and being arranged to control the flow rate of water through the individual radiators as a function of the room temperatures and of the setpoints set at the respective radiator valves, a circulation pump between hot water generator and forward duct and a pressure differential controller, which is connected between forward duct and return duct and has an overflow valve (22, 26), and which is adapted to open a short-circuiting conduit connected in parallel to the radiators more or less depending on the pressure differential between forward duct and return duct, when a predetermined pressure differential has been exceeded, wherein a switch contact (42) is provided at the pressure differential controller and opens, when the pressure differential exceeds a predetermined response level, and wherein this switch contact (42) is connected into the control circuit of the heat source, characterized in that the pressure differential controller comprises an adding valve (50) arranged in parallel to the overflow valve between forward duct and return duct and controlled by the temperature of the forward duct water, said valve being opened, when the temperature of the forward duct water falls below a predetermined value.
