[origin: US4356976A] A fuel injection nozzle is proposed having two nozzle needles in which the control of the fuel delivered via an inflow line is effected by means of a slide valve embodied as a 3-way valve, which in a preferred embodiment of the invention is simultaneously embodied as a 3-position valve and permits not only the alternative exertion of the fuel pressure upon one of the nozzle needles but also a common pressure exertion of both nozzle needles.

Kraftstoffeinspritzdüse mit zwei Düsennadeln (31,32), bei der die Steuerung des über eine Zulaufleitung (15") zugeführten Kraftstoffes mittels eines als 3-Wegeventil ausgebildeten Schieberventils (14") erfolgt, das in einer bevorzugten Ausgestaltung der Erfindung zugleich als 3-Stellungsventil ausgebildet ist und neben der alternativen Aufschaltung des Kraftstoffdrucks auf eine der Düsennadeln (31, 32) auch eine gemeinsame Druckbeaufschlagung beider Düsennadeln (31, 32) erlaubt.
