Abstract (en)
The electro-acoustic transducer comprises a sound-emitter element which consists of the glass (2) and of its support ring (17). The latter is an elastic membrane of annular form connected by adhesive bonding or welding, on the one hand to the periphery of the glass and on the other hand to the edge of the opening of the middle part-bezel (1). The joining element (16) is a rod fixed to the rear of the glass perpendicular to the latter. It carries the armature (27) located opposite the excitation electromagnet (21, 24, 26). The coil (26) is fed with current pulses from a battery housed in the movement (5). The frequency of the pulses sent to the coil (26) will be within a specific band, the actual frequency of the sound generator being located outside this band. <IMAGE>

Le transducteur électro-acoustique comporte un organe émetteur de sons qui est constitué par la glace (2) et par son anneau de soutien (17). Ce dernier est une membrane élastique de forme annulaire liée par collage ou soudage, d'une part à la périphérie du verre, et d'autre part au bord de l'ouverture de la carrure-lunette (1). L'élément de liaison (16) est une tige fixée au revers de la glace perpendiculairement à celle-ci. Elle port l'armature (27) située en regard de l'électro-aimant d'excitation (21, 24, 26). La bobine (26) est alimentée en impulsions de courant à partir d'une pile logée dans le mouvement (5). La fréquence des impulsions envoyées dans la bobine (26) sera comprise dans une bande déterminée, la fréquence propre du générateur de sons étant située en dehors de cette bande.
