[origin: WO8002273A1] The plastic cover for barrel has a diameter which corresponds to the diameter of the barrel to cover and protect, the periphery of this cover presenting, from moulding, a special profile with a recessed portion providing for a deformation when forcing in place the cover on the edge of the barrel, the flattening or releasing after setting in place ensuring simultaneously a firm holding of the cover on its support and the filling of exterior agent, thereby insulating the upper basin of the barrel on the periphery of which the cover is fixed. Application to the protection of barrel tops which must be weather proof and have perfect filling characteristics.

Coiffe en matiere plastique pour fut dont le diametre correspond au diametre du fut a recouvrir et proteger, la peripherie de cette coiffe presentant, venu de moulage, un profil special avec partie retreinte obligeant a une deformation pour la mise en place a force de la coiffe sur le rebord du fut, le relachement apres mise en place assurant simultanement le maintien en place energique de la coiffe sur son support et l'etancheite aux agents exterieurs, permettant ainsi d'isoler la cuvette superieure du fut sur le pourtour de laquelle la coiffe est posee. Application a la protection des dessus de futs devant conserver aux intemperies, des caracteristiques parfaites d'etancheites.
