[origin: US4421255A] A dispenser for pasty products has a cylindrical body with an open bottom and an outlet in its top. A piston that closes the bottom of the body, cooperating with it to define a chamber, is slidable upward in the body for expelling contents of the chamber out of the outlet. An actuator on the exterior of the body, movable in opposite directions, is manually movable to one limit of its motion and biased to the other limit. A rod connected with the actuator and movable lengthwise up and down in the body has a unidirectional driving connection with the piston that constrains the piston to move upward with it but allows it to move down relative to the piston. A check valve associated with the outlet opens to allow discharge of chamber contents but closes to block flow into the chamber, thus enabling atmospheric pressure to hold the piston against downward motion. Several advantageous unidirectional connections are disclosed.

Bei diesem Spender sind ein unten offener Behälter (2) mit einer Spendeöffnung (9) und mit einem die untere Behälteröffnung abschließenden beweglichen Kolben (6) vorgesehen, sowie zu manuell bewirkbaren Herausdrücken des Behälterinhalts mittels des Kolbens (6) durch die Spendeöffnung eine außerhalb des Behälterinnenraums angeordnete Betätigungsvorrichtung (3) mit einem von Hand betätigbaren Organ (4) mit einer damit gekoppelten in den Behälterinnenraum hineinragenden Stange (8), eine Verbindungsvorrichtung zum Herstellen einer Wirkverbindung zwischen der mittels des von Hand betätigbaren Organs auf- und abbewegbaren Stange (8) und dem Kolben (6) und eine Vorrichtung zum Verhindern eines Absinken- des Kolbens aus einer einmal erreichten Position. Zwecks einfacher Verhinderung eines Absinkens des Kolbens aus einer einmal erreichten Position und zuverlässiger Betätigung ist die Vorrichtung zum Verhindern eines Absinkens des Kolbens als Rückschlagventil (7) und ist die Verbindungsvorrichtung als eine Relativbewegung zwischen Stange (8) und Kolben (6) nur in eine Richtung zulassende Kupplungsvorrichtung (5) ausgebildet.
