[origin: EP0028748A2] In order to obtain a simple and operationally reliable construction of the hydraulic unit in a hydraulic lifting platform, a pump with two feed directions is provided which, in one feed direction, loads the lifting cylinder for lifting the lifting platform via a hydraulically releasable non-return valve, whereas in the other feed direction of the pump this non-return valve is hydraulically released for lowering the lifting platform (Fig. 1).
