[origin: WO8001671A1] Carriage for a portable load-carrying unit (10), which is adjustable between an inoperative position and an operative load-carrying position, comprising gripping means (27), at least one pair of links (14) which are pivotally connected with each other in a common joint (15) at one end thereof, and at least one load-carrying wheel (17) rotatably mounted at said joint. The carriage of this invention is characterized in that said links (14) at the other ends are operatively connected to said gripping means (27) and are guided to be pressed towards each other by a lifting force applied to said lifting means to bias the carriage towards said operative position to lower the load-carrying wheel at said common joint (15) in order to transfer gradually the load carried by the lifting means, to said carriage.

Un chariot pour un porte-charge portatif (10) est reglable entre une position de repos et une position de travail, et comprend des moyens de prehension (27), au moins une paire de chainons (14) qui sont relies de maniere pivotante entre eux dans une articulation commune (15) a l'une de leurs extremites, et au moins une roue porte-charge (17) montee en rotation au niveau de l'articulation. Ce chariot se caracterise en ce que lesdits chainons (14) aux autres extremites sont relies auxdits moyens de prehension (27) et sont guides pour etre presses l'un vers l'autre par une force de levage appliquee sur les moyens de levage pour pousser le chariot vers la position de travail de maniere a abaisser la roue porte-charge aux articulations communes (15) de maniere a transferer progressivement la charge transportee par les moyens de levage vers le chariot.
