[origin: WO8002576A1] The retractable post (9) is guided on two locations by two sets of rollers (10) arranged in a cross and facing each other. The supports of the different rollers (10) are mounted inside a support structure (6) carrying on the upper face thereof a cover plate (3) which is traversed by the sliding post (9). The barrier may be mounted as a unit in a well (1), the cover plate (3) being used both as a unique support of the barrier and as a closure, an electric motor (13) with autoblocking transmission lifts or lowers the post (9) by means of a chain, belt or rack drive (15). The autoblocking transmission stops the post (9) in its extreme positions; a clutch (18) which may be actuated from the outside allows the manual displacement of the post.

Le poteau escamotable (9) est guide en deux endroits par deux jeux de rouleaux (10) disposes en croix et se faisant face. Les supports des differents rouleaux (10) sont montes a l'interieur d'une structure de support (6) portant sur sa face superieure une plaque de couverture (3) qui est traversee par le poteau coulissant (9). La barriere peut etre montee comme unite dans un puits (1) la plaque de couverture (3) servant a la fois de support unique a la barriere et de fermeture, un moteur electrique (13) a transmission autobloquante fait monter ou descendre le poteau (9) grace a un entrainement a chaine, courroie ou cremaillere (15). La transmission autobloquante immobilise le poteau (9) dans ses positions extremes; un embrayage (18) pouvant etre actionne de l'exterieur permet de deplacer le poteau manuellement.
