The invention is aimed at an arrangement for fastening a needle bar (8) in a groove (2) of a segment-like basic body (1) provided with a multiplicity of axis-parallel grooves (2) on machines carrying needle bars, for example combing machines, gill and heckle bars, open-end rings, fibrillating and perforating rollers and the like, the groove depth corresponding to at least the width of the carrier strip of the needle bar. According to the invention, the needle bar (8) is curved transversely relative to its longitudinal axis, specifically in such a way that the distance (17) between the chord (15) on the concavely curved carrier strip (10) of the needle bar (8) and the parallel tangent (16) on the convexly curved side of the needle bar (8) is greater than the width (6) of the groove (2), and that the curved needle bar (8) bears resiliently against the side walls (4,5) of the groove (2). Such an arrangement allows needle bars (8) to be fastened without any additional fastening elements. Die Erfindung richtet sich auf eine Anordnung zum Befestigen eines Nadelstreifens (8) in einer Nut (2) eines mit einer Mehrzahl achsparalleler Nuten (2) versehenen segmentartigen Grundkörpers (1) bei nadelstreifentragenden Maschinen, z. B. Kämmereimaschinen, Gill- und Hechelstäben, Open-end-Ringen, Fibrillier- und Perforierwalzen u.dgl., wobei die Nuttiefe mindestens der Breite der Tragleiste des Nadelstreifens entspricht. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, daß der Nadelstreifen (8) quer zu seiner Längsachse gekrümmt ist, und zwar derart, daß der Abstand (17) zwischen der Sehne (15) an der konkav gekrümmten Tragleiste (10) des Nadelstreifens (8) und der dazu parallelen Tangente (16) an der konvex gekrümmten Seite des Nadelstreifens (8) größer ist als die Breite (6) der Nut (2), und daß der gekrümmte Nadelstreifen (8) den Seitenwänden (4, 5) der Nut (2) federnd anliegt. Eine solche Anordnung ermöglicht die Befestigung von Nadelstreifen (8) ohne zusätzliche Befestigungselemente. Die Nadelstreifen (8) können unter Zuhilfenahme eines entsprechenden Werkzeugs fest in die Nuten (2) des Grundkörpers (1) eingepreßt werden.
